Korean UGC · Creator partnerships · Meta partnership ads

Korean UGC that runs as your Meta ads.

Korean creators use your product for real and post it to an audience that already follows them. The video that brings signups keeps running as a Meta partnership ad from their handle. Built for subscription apps, SaaS and AI products entering Korea.

Three ways to buy Korean UGC

The same video can be worth very different amounts.

Cheapest, coldest

UGC bought as a file

A creator films the video and hands you the file. It runs from your brand account with zero likes and zero comments, to people who have never heard of the creator.

Warm, short-lived

Creator post only

The creator posts to their own followers. Trust is high, but an organic post mostly lives for one to two weeks and then stops reaching new people.

What we run

Creator post + partnership ad

The creator posts first, then the same post runs as a Meta partnership ad from their handle, carrying the engagement it already earned. As an ad it keeps working for one to three months.

Partnership ads vs standard ads: 19% lower cost per result and 13% higher click through rate, per Meta internal A/B testing across roughly 2,400 campaigns.

How we run it

Creator-led growth, measured in paid signups.

01

Pick creators and KOLs by fit

We look at who already follows them, how often their audience asks where to get things, and whether they can cut a video that holds attention. Follower count alone tells you very little.

02

Set a creator partnership around your goal

A fixed fee agreed upfront plus an incentive tied to the number you care about: installs, trials or paid subscriptions. Negotiation, contracts and payouts are handled in Korean.

03

Let them use the product for real

Creators get a real account and find the use case their own audience would want. No script for the middle. That part is what makes Korean UGC believable.

04

Track paid signups per creator

Every creator gets their own link or code, so you see which one brought paying users and which one only brought traffic.

05

Run the winner as a Meta partnership ad

Every creator deal includes 30 days of boost rights, so the video that converted runs from the creator's handle the same week, to people who already engaged with it.

FAQ

Questions we get about Korean UGC.

What is Korean UGC?

User generated content made by Korean creators in Korean, in the formats Korean feeds actually reward: caption styles, framing and narration pace that local viewers read instantly. For an app or AI product, the strongest Korean UGC shows a creator using the product on a real task.

What is a Meta partnership ad, and is it the same as whitelisting?

A partnership ad runs from the creator's handle with your brand attached, using permission the creator grants. Whitelisting is the older name for the same idea. Meta's internal A/B testing across roughly 2,400 campaigns found partnership ads delivered 19% lower cost per result and 13% higher click through rate than standard ads.

Why not use AI generated UGC for Korea?

You can make variants with AI, and it is cheap. Korean viewers are wary of it though: in a 2026 survey by Gong&You and Dongseonambuk, 71% of Korean consumers said they feel resistance to AI generated ads and 88% preferred a real human model. An AI actor also has no followers and no post, so the video cannot run as a partnership ad.

How much does Korean UGC cost?

Creator rates depend mostly on audience size and format. Korean Instagram Reel rates start from about $200 per post at around 10K followers and reach $3,000 and above past 500K followers. Our cost guide breaks this down by follower band.

Do you work with KOLs as well as UGC creators?

Yes. KOL (key opinion leader) is the term many APAC teams use. In Korea it usually means a creator or expert whose audience trusts their judgement in one category. We pick KOLs and smaller UGC creators the same way: by how well their audience fits your product.

Do Korean creator posts need an ad label?

Yes. Paid posts in Korea must be clearly disclosed, for example with a paid promotion label on YouTube or #광고 on Instagram, and AI generated content in ads has its own labeling rules. We brief every creator on this so the post is compliant before it runs as an ad.
